Have just returned from an amazing honeymoon and getting back to reality! I was going through my wedding folder (hopefully for the last time!) and realised that I think we forgot to thank you for performing such a wonderful service for us. I think we even forgot to say goodbye! So thankyou for doing such a wonderful job, we couldn't have hoped for it to be more perfect (even the weather!). just a quick email to say thankyou for conducting our marriage. People either said they thought you were very entertaining...or they had you as a lecturer at uni! Thanks for being so patient with our flower girl - she definitely wanted to be involved. If you ever have need of a reference for weddings then Paul and I are quite happy to add our names to the list! Thanks again. Rikki I am sorry that this email is so late coming. I am just writing to thank you so very much for the wonderful way you orated our wedding ceremony on Saturday 17th April. I know that we decided on the content but the ceremony could not have run as smoothly as it did without your help. For a day that was so nerve racking you certainly put us both at ease and we enjoyed it immensely. It was the most wonderful day, and the ceremony went beautifully. Our guess enjoyed the ceremony greatly and many have commented on how relaxed it was – even one of the string quartet players said it was one of the loveliest weddings she had been to. Alan and I would like to say thank you so much for conducting our wedding ceremony. You were superb! We thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony and felt surprisingly relaxed which was in a large part due to you. Our family and friends all commented on the ceremony and asked who you were. I’ve only just returned to work so I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to send you a quick note to say thank you for such a job well done on our wedding day. Now I know you feel a tad silly about calling me Sharon but that’s one of the parts of the ceremony that I will treasure forever and it’s actually my favourite part – you see for some reason, people react to me in two ways – they either forget my name all together (in addition to forgetting they’d met me) or they call me Sharon. I’m not sure what the correlation between Sharon and Sandra is (I can see it for Sharon and Karen for example). But it’s always been a long standing joke with my friends that my name is Sharon – so about 80% of our guests were privy to this which is why they laughed (as opposed to laughing at your mistake). You were everything Carolyn had promised when she recommended you – you kept the ceremony light hearted and held it together wonderfully. There’s also a part on the DVD of our ceremony at the signing where for some reason I looked at you and told you that “… it took me forever to get my boobs right.” Lots of wonderful memories. On a day of 5 weddings, a Federal Election and a Hills Car Rally, I received this email from a couple who were married in the middle of the afternoon alongside a lake at Macclesfield. Thank you for being a part of our wedding in Macclesfield on that faithful election day. It’s been over 2 months now - we're so slack in showing our gratitude! So many people enjoyed your relaxed style, we had lots of comments. And it really suited the whole atmosphere of our day, which was to make it as relaxed as possible. Regardless, we still had dry throats, sweaty palms and the ring wasn't obliging! But you handled our little ring bearer’s performance beautifully, and really like the way you didn't rush and let late comers settle in before continuing. You must be busy, because we've heard many people mention you at various weddings since. In fact a fair few through Dani's work, which co-incidentally is where a customer recommended you to us! So keep up your comfortable style. It’s making a lot of happy families. What a great service you provide to so many, I couldn't do it, and keep up the enthusiasm. Kory and Dani.
